Integrated Iron and Steel Manufacturing MACT Compliance

Scope of Work:

HOH provided all engineering services to bring Mittal Steel’s Indiana Harbor Works into compliance with the recently promulgated Integrated Iron and Steel Manufacturing MACT (maximum achievable control technology) Standards.  This is a six million dollar construction project for the installation of MACT compliant continuous air flow rate and damper position monitors, continuous water flow rate monitors, continuous pressure differential monitors, and bag leak detection systems at applicable facilities (Sinter Plant, #2 & #4 BOF’s, #5, #6 & #7 Blast Furnaces.)  The project included all required Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering.
