architecture and all major engineering disciplines,
Harry O. Hefter - Associates, Inc. is able to provide
planning, design, and construction management for a
variety of public works projects. Specialties include
engineering design for freeways, grade separations,
interchanges, roadways and bridges, parking facilities,
and site development as well as associated building
designs including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and
control systems. Our expertise extends to power systems
design, protective relays, energy management and
supervisory monitoring systems, lighting design for
indoor and outdoor applications, and communications and
security systems.
We are also
fully experienced in field investigations, studies, and
the preparation of reports, budgets, estimates, and
contract documents, and are prepared to work with our
clients on identifying problem situations, and
recommending practical solutions. In 1964 HOH achieved
its first ranking in the Engineering News Record's
listing of the nation's top 500 design firms and remains
on that list today. Our organization has designed
projects approaching one billion dollars in construction
value. Our private sector clients include most of the
major companies in America's steel industry. On four
occasions the National Society of Professional Engineers
has selected one of our projects as one of the "Top Ten
Engineering Achievements of the Year."
